"default": "It was the famous wet winter of 1942 and grounded planes at Shannon airport in Ireland forced passengers to hole up in the airport bar. Bartender Joe Sheridan observed his weary patrons and took the unprecedented step that eludes so many bartenders, and invented a classic cocktail. The combination of sugar, fat, alcohol, and caffeine provides everything the body needs in situations that demand extreme levels of pick-me-up-ness."
