    "default": "A good Negroni should be served over big chunks of freezer-temperature ice, and there's nothing wrong with building the whole thing in a rocks glass. Stir for 1 full minute, then garnish with a slice of orange. For new initiates it's wise to start with Aperol instead of Campari—it's like Campari's better-natured, mawkish cousin. If the bitterness is still too much you can always drop the ratio slightly, or do what I do and just up the gin!"
