The drink dates back to 1888 New Orleans and a gent named Henry Ramos. Due to the low cost of labor back then, Ramos would hire \"shaker boys\" to pump out the cocktails, and they would stand in a line continuously shaking. All night. However, the result of all that shaking is a silky smooth pick-me-up that, when balanced correctly, rivals any drink for pure sipping pleasure. Expect to receive balanced refreshment that slides down the gullet rather too easily. Sugar balances the sour as in a regular fizz, and the orange flower water adds a fragrant aromatic to accompany the gin."
